Q. Congratulations on your well-deserved promotion, Lisa. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
A. I am married and the proud mother of three grown sons, Jason, Christopher, and Cody, as well as two grown stepsons, Dustin and Cody. I’m also a grandmother to my 11-year-old step-grandson, Kade, and we welcomed a brand-new grandson Maverick Michael in March. Family means everything to me, and I cherish every opportunity to spend time with them when I get to go back to Michigan/Ohio to visit.
Q. You’ve worked at many different manufactured housing communities over your career. How is The Preserve different from the rest?
A. The Preserve’s design layout differs drastically from anything I’ve ever seen. Our development is entirely front-facing with a broad-front design, and with the siding extending all the way to the ground, it truly gives the appearance of a traditional subdivision rather than a manufactured home community. In addition, the amenities at The Preserve far surpass anything I’ve experienced in the past 20+ years I’ve been in the industry, setting a whole new standard for community living.
Q. Typically, when a new Sales Manager is brought onboard, he or she makes some changes. Any plans that we can expect? Also, what would you say to a potential customer that came in a year ago and was unable to make a deal?
A. I plan to play a major role in further establishing The Preserve as the true “resort-style” living experience that it was designed to be. My focus will be on enhancing the overall presentation of the community and ensuring that every prospective resident clearly sees the value, quality, and lifestyle we offer.
For potential customers who visited in the past and were unable to make a deal, I would welcome the opportunity to sit down with them and better understand what held them back. By learning more about their concerns, I can address them directly and show them why The Preserve stands out. Our lot rent is lower than most developments or homeowners associations in the area, and we consistently evaluate the market to ensure we surpass our competition in every aspect. I’m confident that once they take another look, they’ll see there isn’t a better community to call home.
Q. Why should a couple seeking a retirement home or a second home decide to live at The Preserve?
A. Couples seeking a retirement home or second home should choose The Preserve because it truly offers the best of both worlds — resort-style living with the comfort of a close-knit community.
Our community is cost-effective while being rich in amenities, activities, and beautifully maintained surroundings. Residents enjoy an active, social lifestyle with opportunities to relax or stay as busy as they like. What truly sets The Preserve apart, however, is the people. It’s a supportive, welcoming community where neighbors genuinely look out for one another. Whether someone needs lawn mowing, flowerbed installations, tree planting, or simply a neighbor to keep an eye on their home while they’re away, there’s always someone willing to help.
At The Preserve, you’re not just buying a home — you’re gaining a lifestyle and a community.
Q. Can you tell us a little about each product you carry? How involved can I be in the design process of a new home?
A. We offer a variety of new manufactured homes built by industry-trusted builders including Jacobsen Homes, Skyline Homes, Champion Homes, and Palm Harbor Homes. We typically have several homes in stock that are move-in ready, allowing buyers to enjoy a streamlined purchase and quicker occupancy.
If you don’t see the perfect fit among our available inventory, you can absolutely build a home tailored to your preferences. You’ll have the opportunity to:
You can be as involved in the design process as you’d like. I guide each buyer step-by-step, helping you understand the features and benefits of every option so you can make confident decisions.
Every home offers unique features, but the key is determining which benefits truly enhance your lifestyle. Sometimes that means prioritizing must-have items while adjusting other selections to stay within your desired price point. My role is to help you balance design, function, and budget so you end up with a home that feels perfectly suited to you — without overextending.
Q. If I ordered a home today, how long would it take before I could move in?
A. You would typically be looking at approximately 3–4 months to close and move in.
That timeframe includes:
The biggest variable is often weather — especially rain — which can affect site work, foundation prep, and final grading.
I always keep my buyers updated throughout the process so there are no surprises. My goal is to make the timeline smooth, predictable, and as stress-free as possible.
Q. If I didn’t want to wait for a new home, are there any turn-key homes that I can move into within days?
A. Absolutely! We always have turn-key homes available that are ready for immediate occupancy. These homes are fully set up, move-in ready, and allow you to start enjoying life at The Preserve without the wait.
Q. Is there a program where I can visit the community but actually stay there for a few days so that I can experience not just the community, so that I can get a feel for the local area, too?
A. Yes! We offer a FREE 3-Day, 2-Night Guest Home Program that’s designed for exactly that. It allows you to experience life at The Preserve firsthand and get a real feel for the area.
During your stay, we’ll give you a full tour of:
It’s a great way to see everything our community has to offer and truly envision your life here — all before making any decisions.
Q. Why is NOW a good time to buy at The Preserve?
A. Now is a great time to buy at The Preserve because our current promotions offer incredible value.
Right now, buyers can enjoy:
These promotions make it an excellent opportunity to secure your home, maximize your savings, and start enjoying resort-style living immediately.
Q. What do you like to do when you’re not working?
A. I have a few hobbies that keep me busy and happy! One of my biggest passions is raising Monarch butterflies, which are on the endangered list. Thanks to a resident here at The Preserve, I got hooked on it. Last year, I raised and released 88 Monarch butterflies & 1 Queen Butterfly! Florida gives us the perfect environment for it, though sometimes I have to get creative — like during a recent cold snap, I hatched six butterflies in a mesh cage in my living room.
I also love spending time with my 91 year old mom & my friends, whether it’s going to DJ Bingo, having dinner together, or just swimming in my pool. Gardening is another favorite — I love getting my hands dirty in my flowerbeds, and my yard keeps me happily occupied.
Another hobby I cherish is shark tooth hunting, something my grandfather introduced me to when I was 10. Over the years, I built quite a collection, and I even traded it for a large Megalodon tooth! I donated my collection to a memory care unit in Port Charlotte, where they are now being used for crafts — which felt was the right choice.
All in all, my hobbies combine nature, creativity, and spending time with people I enjoy, and they keep me energized outside of work.

Q: Good morning, Jeannette. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
A: Good morning, a little bit about myself… I was born and raised in beautiful South Florida. Cuban and Spaniard descent. I speak three languages, English, Spanish and Spanglish (lol). I am a proud mother of three amazing kids, and I am a blessed grandmother of 7 beautiful, fun-loving grandchildren. I love being outdoors and consider myself adventurous. Being from Florida, I have always enjoyed the beaches, fishing, and boating. Growing up near the Speedway, we were always at the track watching the races, so I also enjoy Nascar racing. I have also been into motorcycles and love riding.
Q: You’ve worked at several different communities as a park manager. How does The Preserve differ from the other communities you’ve managed?
A: The Preserve is in such a peaceful location and close to everything! We have amenities for everyone to enjoy both indoor and outdoor. Scenic views and beautiful wildlife. We are close to so many beautiful beaches and just a short drive to all the Florida amusements Parks and other great places to visit in any part of Florida.
Q: I am so impressed by the packed calendar you have for our residents. The community engagement has been terrific. Tell us about some of your favorite events that you have hosted at The Preserve.
A: Every event has been a success and the result of a good time. Bringing the residents together so they can meet their neighbors and just enjoy a few hours of entertainment is important, we always have a laugh and create a memory to share, which is the objective. I couldn’t do it without my Team, Kathy and Mike. At times we also have volunteers help, and we make it all come together.
Q: What kind of response are you getting from the residents?
A: We have many residents that take their time to compliment us and most importantly participate in the activities/events. They understand that we are here to make each moment count, and to have a good time. They also love the idea that they do not have to go far from home to enjoy themselves.
Q: Any events on the calendar that you are looking forward to in particular?
A: I look forward to every event as they all have their own meaning and special details. I enjoy seeing the residents have a good time and getting to know one another. Every event is a step in building a community and bringing people together. We try to create different activities/events for all to enjoy and have also added a schedule with later hours for those who still work or have other obligations during the day. There’s always something to do!
Q: Name a few things that you love to do in our neighborhood when you’re not working.
A: I enjoy going to all the different beaches, watching sunsets, and riding my motorcycle through all the back roads while learning about all the different places around here. There are plenty of attractions and secret spots to discover.
Q: Favorite television show? Favorite cuisine? Favorite band? Favorite sports team(s). (This counts as just one question.)
A: I’m not much into TV, but when I watch TV, I find myself watching The Big Bang Theory and of course game shows. I enjoy comedy most.
Lebanese cuisine is my absolute favorite!
I enjoy and love all music, but a few of my top favs are, AC/DC, Pearl Jam, Led Zepplin, Frank Sinatra, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, Sade, Basia, Donna Summer, Patti La Belle, Barbra Streisand, Everything but The Girl, Billie Eilish, I can go on…
My Favorite football team was always Pittsburgh Steelers, but I admit Patrick Mahomes has won me over and I have been cheering for Kansas City ever since he’s been playing for them. Being from Miami, I do have hope for the Dolphins because of Mike McDaniel, the coach. In Basketball, Miami Heat and Golden State because of Stephen Curry & The Miami Marlins baseball Team.
Q: What is your favorite amenity at The Preserve?
A: Being that the weather makes a huge impact on determining what to do, having the Clubhouse with so much to do in it makes it my favorite, rain or shine you can always play games, shoot pool, play ping pong, throw darts, read, work out in the fitness room, listen to music, or even meet for socializing and making it a good time. It’s always nice to see the residents create their own activities and enjoy themselves.
Q: How do you handle feedback, both positive and negative, from residents?
A: Understanding that we cannot please everyone, and working with different personalities can become difficult at times, but I listen, and ask for their suggestions. If it’s something we can manage, we take care of the matter as soon as possible. Otherwise, I will share it with upper management and take their direction.
Q: What one question did I not ask that I should’ve asked you and answer it of course.
A: Can’t think of anything at the moment.
